Words on Wednesday: Courage to Be

courage to be...actively living
quote taken from Carolyn Weber's book Surprised by Oxford: A Memoir.

Everyday Courage

We sometimes set courage up as something that only great people living through great events might need. And that is one type of courage, of course.
But then there's the "I'm living my life intentionally" type. That type sometimes gets forgotten, maybe?

I loved that book! What an interesting quote, living rather than apathetic. Excellent.

Just read over your 2014 book list. Have to agree with you about Sayers' Documents in the Case. It's been the only one of her novels I haven't enjoyed. Lord Peter needed to be in that one, and the silly woman writing the letters needed to be axed.
