31 Authors Children Love: Laura Numeroff

If I had to guess, I’d say If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff gets read at least once a week in our house. (And sometimes it’s more like once a day).

Others we own:

If You Give a Moose a Muffin. I think this one has almost been more popular than “mouse” for a few of my kiddos.

If You Give a Pig a Pancake

Other Books in the Series:

If You Give a Pig a Party. Relatable for anyone who has felt the “throw a birthday party” snowball rolling downhill.

If You Give a Dog a Donut.

If You Give a Cat a Cupcake. Just in case you’ve wondered how a cat would end up in a swimsuit.

Another book by Numeroff that my children have enjoyed:

In the tradition of animals should definitely not wear clothing (Judi Barrett), this ridiculous look at animals behaving like people is sure to make a child laugh.
