I'll be taking a break from posting for the next week and a half or so. I hope to see you back here in January - we'll start 2017 with some ideas about life changing books (including ideas contributed by Living Unabridged readers. If you'd like to suggest a life changing book that should be included, shoot me an email!) and a list of my favorite books in 2016.
In the meantime, in case you still have time to read blogs in the next few days...

Thanks for the heads up on the Nutcracker/Jim Weis CD. I love the Nutcracker story and this sounds like a great way to introduce it to children.
BTW, I've been thinking about your blog post on reading the bible from your Kindle. That surprised me so much because I'm sure you've read the research on how much less we remember when we read digitally. At my age I can't afford to remember less (ha!) so I only read my Kindle bible when we travel.
I always enjoy your blog.
