I loved this book. Here's another quote (related to this one) that jumped out at me:
Maybe the reason you're a bad [ladies' Bible study] group member is that you're wired to teach.
She has this funny section where she talks about what a bad group member she was and how the group leaders would try to avoid eye contact with her because she had so much she wanted to say about what they were studying.
Not that I know anything about that. *cough*
So, anyway, her story has a happy ending because one of those teachers took her aside and asked her if she had ever considered that she might have the gift of teaching. And now, thanks to that perceptive leader, we all get to benefit from Wilkin's studies and teaching.

Which means I haven't finished or added anything. (sad face)

I recently shared my review of Jen Wilkin's book Women of the Word. The other book I'm supposed to be reviewing still hasn't come in. I'm starting to wonder about that. I'll give it a few more days before contacting the company.
Obviously, my reading stack needs a kick in the pants.

After reading Kristen Hannah's newest, I can't seem to motivate myself to read anything. That happens sometimes. I need to give myself some time before I try another book. I miss reading.
That's funny you mention Kristin Hannah. My copy of "The Nightingale" came in right after I wrote this post. For two days I used most of my free minutes to read it straight through. I've never had alcohol before, but I think this must be what a book hangover feels like. ;)
I definitely have a book hangover. I did the same thing with the book. I read it straight through. I may need to read it again. :)
