Weekend Web Wandering - November 21, 2015

The holiday season is upon us, folks. My husband and I went to a Christmas concert last night. (Thereby breaking my husband's strict "no Christmas music before Thanksgiving" rule. But it was a Getty Concert, so that's acceptable because we also sang In Christ Alone.  Just kidding. It was acceptable even if we hadn't sang that song. Some friends gave us tickets and it was a great night, even if the Christmas music moratorium is now on for another week.)

Anyway, what I was saying is it's a busy time. Evidence: we have TWO birthday parties to attend today.

On to the links before we run out of time! {wink}
weekly links round-up

Learning

  • How Do You Grade Math? from Tressays. I can't say we do exactly what Tressa describes but she is wise so I'm taking this advice under advisement.
  • Aligning Your Academic Year with the Calendar Year by Dawn at ladydusk. And we don't do this either, but it does intrigue me and Dawn does a great job of explaining how it works. (We're pretty entrenched in our own way now but for those of you just starting with homeschooling you probably want to at least consider this.)

Mystie is offering a free workshop now through December 5. You know "Get organized" is going to be on your January to do list, so why not get a head start. Anyway, you can't beat free, so what do you have to lose?
